A couple of pictures of the hellish inferno I woke up in every day while out in Durango this past summer. Actually
I had a lot of fun, and I didn't really notice all that much, but the pictures sure make it look like our lives were at risk.
Such a peaceful image of southwestern Colorado
As the weeks went on, hope seemed all but lost
Smoke engulfed the last remaining breathable air
And we were lost in a cloud of hot ash
It's a shame it was reduced to smoldering ash
(well.. not really, but it makes our situation seem more perilous)
